Haunt.

Halloween Haunt at Worlds of Fun opens this weekend - I'm super psyched!

For a kid who grew up going to Worlds of Fun, then moved to within blocks of it, to have the biggest Halloween party in the city now hosted within spitting distance is a haunter's wet dream.

More Dead Fun

Get out your graphic novel and follow along! They did a fantastic job with this motion-comic.

...although there are some scenes I'd rather aren't set to motion. Michonne's captivity and revenge for one. Eeep.

The Walking Dead

The comic has been my hands-down favorite horror comic for years, so the news that it was going to be adapted for television was a mixed blessing. However, after watching a grainy trailer bootlegged onto youtube from the San Diego Comicon, I was happier.

Now the trailer is out in HD and... oh my God. It's the book brought to life.

Scare Factory

Scare Factory has my absolute favorite booth at Transworld. I love everything they have, but my favorite was this gargoyle. Beautiful! It wouldn't stay still long enough for me to get a better shot, however, and their booth was *packed.*

Trans-Ink!

I won't subject you to the photographic evidence until the bleeding stops and the peeling is under control, but I got my first tattoo today, and of course, it had to be a Halloween tat! Hurt like hell, but now I love it!

We arrived in St. Louis yesterday for the Transworld Haunt Show and sat in on some great pre-show seminars. Can't wait to get to the show floor tomorrow!

Cameragasm

I just got my new Pentax DSLR and I am in LOVE! Can't wait to learn all its little secrets. *shifty eyes*

Destination Truth

It's a fantastic show on SciFi (I totally refuse to call it SyFy -- that's the silliest name ever) with a funny (and easy on the eyes) host named Josh Gates. My favorite episode of the show to date is on the Island of the Dolls in the canals of Teshuilo Lake. I studied abroad in Mexico in college, and had the opportunity to visit the canals, including doll hell, but I passed. Kicking myself for that one now.

Transworld

Bought tickets for one of the haunt tours, getting ready to sign up for seminars. Can't wait!

And I found this video. So many things to love in here...
